About Us

Established in January 2002, Mulligans Golf Association (MGA) is an official Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) associate club. MGA exists to promote the game of golf for players of all skill levels. Whether you're a scratch golfer or a beginner, the only requirement is a shared passion for the game of golf. This is a great way to learn and play golf, make new friends and have a great time.

Inaugural Letter from the President
January 2002
This is going to be a very exciting charter year for Mulligans Golf Association members. We, the MGA Board, are working very hard to establish the association, organize the tournaments, and develop a web site that will enable you to track your progress. These efforts support MGA's mission:

to encourage and promote the passion for the game of golf.

Ten events are being planned for the 2002 Season. Events will range from traditional stroke play to fun (more relaxed) formats such as scramble, best ball and a Par 3 event. We've already hosted two successful events this year. In March we played a tournament at Monarch Bay in San Leandro, which was followed by the most recent tournament - a scramble event at Franklin Canyon. Click here to see Upcoming Events.

We've launched our website, and users will have access to information about the club, upcoming events and registration for tournaments. The site will also host features geared specifically for our members. These features will allow members to manage their profile information, interact with other members through a message board (this is very helpful especially when you're trying to fill the last spot in your foursome this weekend), and track his/her handicap (this is essential to improving your game). Also, look for specials or discounts for tee times, equipment and lessons that will be posted on the site from time to time.

We look forward to enjoying the game of golf with you.Northern California Golf Association
